Friday Ratings: Under 10-Million Viewers for the 5-Broadcast Networks

Friday 6/11/21 Preliminary Ratings
Total Viewers:
CBS: 2.94 million, ABC: 2.73, Fox: 1.85, NBC: 1.69, CW: 343,000
Adults 18-49:
Fox: 0.4/ 4 rating/3 share, ABC: 0.4/ 3, NBC: 0.3/ 2, CBS: 0.2/ 2, CW: 0.1/ 1
Needless to say, there is not much you can say when the most-watched network, CBS, comes in at under 3-million viewers. Note that all telecasts on the Eye net — two episodes of “Magnum, P.I.” and “Blue Bloods” — were repeats.
On Fox, “WWE Friday Night Smackdown!” was below average but still dominant. See network averages above. ABC featured “Emergency Call” (Viewers: #2, 2.77 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.3/ 3 at 8 p.m.) and “20/20” (Viewers: #2, 2.72 million; A18-49: #1t, 0.4/ 3 from 9-11 p.m.), which had the advantage over a one-hour edition of competing “Dateline” on NBC (Viewers: #3, 2.03 million; A18-49: #3, 0.3/ 2 at 10 p.m.). At this point, someone needs to tell ABC and NBC that few people are still invested in these murder mysteries.
Earlier in the evening on NBC was animated 2015 theatrical “Minions” at a mere 1.52 million viewers (#4) and a 0.2/ 2 in adults 18-49 (#3t) from 8-10 p.m. And The CW featured reboot dramas “Charmed” (Viewers: 343,000; A18-49: 0.1/ 1 at 8 p.m.) and “Dynasty” (411,000; A18-49: 0.1/ 1), which of course finished in the distant No. 5 spot in both hours.
