Wow - rebuilding this game to incorporate all the changes we explored over the past 12 months is extensive. It looks like we won’t be ready until September at his rate. The plan now is to relaunch sometime in the summer, like the original release of the game engine - and be ready for the fall TV season. There is so much to do with the new formatting, input systems, ratings and review setups and all the stock related items that need to be updated for the new engine and new environment that we are running out of time every day we work on it.
We will be back - just not as fast aswe expected to be back.

The rebuild is underway.
TV Stocks Online is being upgraded to version 2.0 of the Stocksonline engine and will come back bigger, brighter, and better than before.
We are going to be incoporating a new user votes system along with an insertable widget for the stock ticker and are working on a Konfabulator/Yahoo! widget to allow you to play the game without having to be logged onto the site.
Due to the sheer number of entries required, we are also reducing the stock items by cutting out the actual star entries. So the entries for actors and actresses will be phased out and will become unbuyable to ensure we don’t have to worry about the sheer number of entries to enter into the system all the time. All players holding stock in actors and actresses will have their shares cashed out so you won’t lose anything - we’re just going to focus on TV shows and the studios behind the shows.
Reality TV will continue to be tracked on a per person basis, and American Idol will be back with the top 12 so don’t despair. Even if the rebuild is not finished - we will bring American Idol into play within 2 weeks.
