Wednesday Ratings: Quiet Season-Ender for Drama ‘A Million Little Things’ on ABC

Wednesday 6/09/21 Preliminary Ratings
Total Viewers:
NBC: 2.77 million, ABC: 2.56, CBS: 2.38, Fox: 2.03, CW: 458,000
Adults 18-49:
Fox: 0.5 rating/4 share, ABC and NBC: 0.4/ 3 each, CW: 0.1/ 1
In season-finale news was a two-hour installment of ABC’s relationship-themed drama “A Million Little Things”, which concluded with a mere 2.39 million viewers and a 0.4 rating/3 share in adults 18-49 from 9-11 p.m. ET. Next season there is no reason to believe this niche drama will pick up steam back in the Wednesday 10 p.m. ET hour.
“A Million Little Things” led out of game show “Press Your Luck”, which scored a similarly lackluster 2.90 million viewers (#3) and a 0.4/ 3 in the demo (#2t) in the Wednesday 8 p.m. ET hour. Competing “Kids Say the Darndest Things” on CBS (Viewers: #1, 3.04 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.4/ 3) was almost identical.
Elsewhere, Fox’s combination of “MasterChef” (Viewers: #4, 2.42 million; A18-49: #1 for the night: 0.6/ 5 at 8 p.m.) and recent entry “Crime Scene Kitchen” (Viewers: #4, 1.66 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.4/ 3 at 9 p.m.) was enough for the network to lead the evening in adults 18-49. The remainder of the evening was all repeats.
