Sunday Final Nationals: CBS and ABC Share Leadership on Holiday Sunday Night

Only one of the fifteen hours of programming among the four major broadcast networks on the Sunday night prior to the July 4th holiday was original. The network that aired that lone original telecast, CBS with the Sunday premiere of “Big Brother 19”, was the night’s most-watched network with an average of 4.37 million viewers. CBS also shared the broadcast network lead with ABC in all key demos.
